The Willamette Valley Region embraces 10 counties: Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas, Marion, Linn, Yamhill, Benton, Polk, Columbia, and all but coastal slope of Lane. It also covers 3 counties in neighboring Washington – Clark, Cowlitz, and the western half of Skamania – that share a similar topography, vegetation, and climate.
