1949. He lectures and writes about birds
for the Audubon Society of Portland, has
authored three books, and serves as Secretary
of the Oregon Record Committee and subregional
editor for North American Birds.
Tom
Aversa
Co-author of Birds of the Puget
Sound Region, records compiler for
the Washington Ornithological Society,
and member of the Washington Bird Records
Committee, has worked at Woodland Park
Zoo in Seattle since arriving from Massachusetts
in 1996.
Hal
Opperman
Principal author of A Birder's
Guide to Washington (American Birding
Association) and co-author of Birds
of the Puget Sound Region, has lived
in the Seattle area since 1967. He is
past editor of the Washington Ornithological
Society's journal, Washington Birds.
